Farmers Markets

For the most comprehensive and up-to-date listing

of the San Diego area farmers markets, please visit

our good friends at Edible San Diego.

According to Edible San Diego, nearly 60 farmers' markets convene each week in the greater San Diego area, Monday through Sunday. Our mild mediterranean climate and 360+ organic farms means there is no shortage of fresh, local produce year round. We are also blessed with locally raised beef, chicken, turkeys and other fowl, pork, lamb, rabbit, local fish and shellfish, cheese, wine (much of it made with estate grown grapes), and soon we'll have an organic dairy!

All San Diego County farmers' markets listed except Barona Open Air Market, Rincon's Outdoor Market, SDSU and Seeds @ City are certified by the San Diego County Agricultural Commissioner, ensuring that the produce is grown by the seller or another certified farmer, is grown in California, and meets all California quality standards. Both Temecula markets and the Murrieta market are certified the Riverside County Agricultural Commissioner.
